Dispatch Administrator

Minimum Qualifications
National Senior Certificate – Grade 12.

Experience required
Dispatch or Logistics Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehousing roles is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in managing dispatch procedures, logistical processes, and inventory management is a prerequisite.

Administrative Experience: The incumbent must be able to demonstrate proficiency in tasks associated with administrative roles, such as administrative assistant or office administrator, showcasing strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer service roles, particularly within logistics or transportation, showcasing the ability to manage customer interactions and ensure service delivery standards will be advantageous.

Computer Experience: Must be proficient with basic computer skills, including experience with word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), email applications, and database management software such as Magneto will be advantageous.

Skills required
Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated track record of effectively resolving logistical issues and managing unexpected situations through strong problem-solving skills.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues in a team environment, emphasizing effective communication and coordination among team members.

Attention to Detail: Maintaining accuracy and precision in roles requiring attention to detail, such as data entry, record-keeping, or quality control positions.

Time Management Skills: Effectively managing time, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Communication Skills: Communicate effectively and professionally when engaging with drivers, warehouse staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
